TYI Strategy

Relationship based public affairs, engagement and media services

TYI Strategy provides public affairs, stakeholder engagement and media services to clients working in pro growth and strategically important sectors. Our belief is that good relationships with politicians, leading sector figures and journalists will lead to a successful communications and engagement strategy.

The TYI Strategy team have worked in public affairs and the media across a wide range of sectors, as well as in Parliament and regional and local government, so bring a wealth of knowledge to the work that they do.

TYI Strategy

At TYI Strategy, we understand that good relationships are what makes a successful public affairs and engagement strategy. Our team already has deep and lasting relationships with politicians across parties, the country and across tiers of government, but we are continuously building new relationships and expanding our networks.
Public affairs

Develop and execute a public affairs strategy that includes engagement with politicians across the political spectrum and that aims to raise the profile of pro-growth initiatives and awareness of barriers to growth.

Stakeholder engagement

Work with stakeholders from civil society, industry and academia to build a consensus around pro-growth policies. Bringing policy makers together with other stakeholders will help build a powerful case for pro-growth policies and projects.

Media relations

Work with journalists to place interviews, share case studies and contribute to stories that are part of the pro-growth narrative. This will primarily focus on print and online media, but we will work with clients to identify the best channels for media engagement, if appropriate.

Local and regional government

Our experience at local and regional government level means we are able to confidently lead engagement with key figures from councils and strategic authorities. The policy shift by the national government towards devolution means that successful organisations and projects must consider local and regional government as part of their engagement strategy.
